The difference was, that we had more than them going forward. We scored our goals - theirs' were gifted to them. I know it may sound strange, as we won, but the odds on us winning the tournament should actually be wider after that performance.

I see where you're coming from Spain but we've had a solid start to this comp unlike many before when we've lost our first match. A good next win and the odds will be slashed.

I wouldn't bet a single penny on England - it would just be criminal waste. As Luke says, we are not in the same league as some others. If you played like that against Spain, you'd be crucified!

Hey,Chelsea won the CL against all the odds against much better teams....it could happen to us. Think about it,we beat a team we've never beaten after coming back from behind and a bit of luck like Chelsea had then who knows? I say that we will do well in this comp.

Yes, but The Chavs prevailed because of their defensive organisation - as ugly as it was to watch. Did you see our defence tonight? Well, that's that strategy out of the window, then!

Yes Spain, you're right,oh well we can all dream but our defence can be improved with work. I'm always optimistic.

Our fans must be looking forward to going to Ukraine, after they sportingly mixed with the French fans for beating them after the game tonight, just seen footage online, kicked the **** out of them. If we beat them as I think we're going to, we have momentum, they have pressure, we put the host out of the tournament...<yikes>

got to say well done Greece...i like the way they fight....hope they go far..rather a minnow than one of the usual suspects.

ahh and well done England too...some poor goals conceded...and i think Sweden are very poor....next match will say more about the toughness of the team.

Kyriakos Papadopoulos looks like a good prospect at centre back. I'd take him over Jonas Olsson - although, no doubt, our interest in him has cooled since Thursday afternoon...

Torosidis has been a nightmare in mine - I thought they'd beat the Czechs and they lose 2-1 and he gets booked, I thought Russia would roll them over and they won 1-0...

The Dutch are being run ragged and are all over the place. Portugal are good.

this dutch defence can make any team look good! this has to be down to the manager as he seems to have destroyed all their attacking flow and has tried to go defensive with crap defenders and now there left in a position were all the pressure is on them to perform.

Yeah, even when they played with two defensive midfielders in the first two games there was plenty of time and space for the opposition getting forward. Despite not being great Portugal have looked really fired up this tournament and I hope they go through despite not really rating them pre tournament.
