Probably done this one before, but after the nonsense of today, the grubby small-town-mentality binners, and the even worse Wormwood Scrubs inmates, I need some mellow cleansing! <ok>

Anything by Coldplay...Holt might leave so I need some depressing, slit my wrists music

Thanks Gandy. The missus is finally starting to make progress so some of my workload is easing off at last, although as you can see by the timing of this message you can see that I am up changing nappies and rocking the little fella to sleep right now!

We planned a day doing nothing and going nowhere tomorrow for the first time since they got back from hospital but she informed me that now she fears it will be a solitary existence tomorrow as I will be locked to my 'forum friends' to find out what is happening to Holty! Ha!

Absolutely, I mean he and she are important, naturally, but priorities mate, priorities! <laugh>

Seriously though, we love our team of course, but they mean much more in the scheme of things. <ok>

My missus is watching that dreadful ****e the Voice (if its all about the voice, it should be a radio programme surely?) so the headphones are on and I've just listened to the Flock of Seagulls Wishing which has one of the most memorable and compulsive riffs in music which luckily cover up one of the worst vocal performances.

Bet you were glued to Trooping the Colour yesterday! I loved Philips random display of saluting!

Nope skipper. I never did an actual troop, but if the guards' bands had a 'better job', then other bands, within easy reach of London, like us, copped the bloody rehearsals. Rehearsals started at 6am so you can imagine what time we had to leave Reading <yikes>
