Be hard to sleep after Wagner I will admit Gandy <laugh>

If you need something to lsiten to to help you sleep try searching for Albinini adagio or Samuel barber adagio.

The Albinini was used as the them tune to the film Gallipoli and the Barber was used as the theme to The Elephant Man and Platoon. Lovely music imho. <ok>

What do you think of Henryk Górecki Symphony Nº3 (Symphony of Sorrowful Songs)? Played to oblivion on Classic FM, but a very poignant piece.

I quite like it Gandy, but as you said, it seems to be top of Classic FM's playlist.

Have you heard the Benedictus from The One Armed Man by Karl Jenkins?
Again, a lovely piece of music, but hammered by Classic FM.

I listend to it with eyes closed and compared it to a Welsh male voice choir. Bloody difficult to tell the difference. They eem to have copied that 'sound' perfectly. Have to admit, when I first heard it, the hairs were standing on the back of the neck.

Best musical rendition by Mormons since the Osmonds 'Crazy Horses'! <laugh>

Seriously though, really enjoyed that, will be playing that through a few times I'm sure. Great find Maestro, thanks for putting it up. Love my football, but do enjoy these musical threads. <ok>

I got Keane's new album Strangeland the other day, and after a first listen I wasn't sure but now I love it. If you're into that sort of thing I'd recommend it!
