I've switched off and am on here. I never have taken any notice of Irish football even when Jacky Charlton was their boss.....bloody traitor.
It was the racehorses against the donkeys. Ireland were comprehensively outplayed all over the pitch.

Vedran Corluka has been asked to address speculation in Italy that Spain and Croatia could arrange the result of their upcoming game. The Azzuri are concerned that a 2-2 draw between the sides would see them crash out, regardless of their result against Ireland. His reply? "Who has a betting scandal in their country?"
Considering the obviously pre-arranged 2-2 draw between Denmark and Sweden at Euro 2004, I think the Italians have earned the right to be more than a little paranoid...
Very true Croydon, but they're not in the best position to be talking about people fixing games, are they? It would be a rather ironic turn of events, if it did happen.
Forgot to mention it before - so, what did everyone make of Robben's nervous breakdown when he was subbed against Germany?
and the rest of us have earned the right to laugh at them the Germans look like a machine again...best team by far and all of it earned no hype.
Technically it would be funnier if it was 2-2 in the 90th minute, the Spain scored a freakish own goal. The reactions from both coaches would be priceless!
A bit over the top, but I think he made his point without having to do anything outrageous. Didn't agree with the substitution myself, but it's not behaviour that you want to see, is it? Not a happy camp.
Young could have made it two. England are settling and rounding the Sweden defence...a team we've never beaten I think. If we win it then it tells a story for us.
Got to give it to the lad, top class header from that distance, give him a carrot. If you think the commentary is excruciating, avoid Chris Moyles on the Red button!
