A tweet from the legend that is Curly.... Sunderland is actually getting closer to Europe! Thanks to plate tectonics the Wearside coastline will hit Holland in 2.7 million years
Never been on a lads holiday Tash? 14 days of solid drink. (Wor lass claims I'm an alchie because I drink a bottle of wine every other night!)
Drinking 3 nights in a row is nothing to worry about Tash. It's when you've been passed out for three full days + nights in a row following a proper drinking session that you know you've had too much.
Not a massive boozer these days AB. The devil is still in me of course. If you put me in a bar I still can't stop at 5 or 6. Hence I don't go to the bar very often! I saw a hilarious sight yesterday at about 6pm. I had parked up opposite the working man's club on Bedlington front street. I went into the shop and when I came out a bloke of about 50 odd was in a heated discussion with a youngish 19-23 yr old lad. I only caught the tail end it but it went a little like this: Older bloke: You just need to gan home, ya ****ed Young lad: I'm alreet man, let is come back in. I'm good for a few more man. Older bloke (who was obviously a relation): Look Stu, ya meckin a tit a yersel. Just gan home and sort yersel oot. Young lad then turned telling him he's a ****ing twat and starts staggering across the main road. He's clearly brained and as he gets closer I notice he has pissed himself, the massive piss mark covering most of his grey jogging bottoms. Not a good look.
I think I had a near death experience today. I was playing cricket when it started to rain, very hard. So i sheltered under a tree with a few mates. A minute later, there was a massive flash, like someone had just set of a firework in front of us. A second later, there's the massive thunder bang, like a gunshot. The ground literally shook like an earthquake. Car alarms started going off, a few roof tiles fell, and we legged it away from the tree like it was about to explode. Seriously, thunder that close is a ****ing terrifying thing.
Probably the worst place to shelter during an electric storm is under a tree. Google it and see how many fatal accidents have happened that way.
