Rich was aware he wasn't going to be signed when Nick was manager. Please stop making it appear he was let go because we had no manager. It was already a done deal. As much as I liked Rich, he won't be good enough for us next season, and for him professionally, he can go get a good deal and build on his already great rep back in Oz.

Plus, seriously, you'd want the club to agree new contracts with players who were already going to be let go, BEFORE we sign a new manager?? Really??

Not at all. I was simply saying that to make any decision about players without a manager in place was crazy. Garcia said himself that any chance of a new contract with Hull City had gone once Hull City had sacked Nick Barmby. Andy Dawson is another who needs to know whats what and quickly. I am actually torn over Garcia but yes maybe the time is right to head back to Oz and finish off his career back home.

Rumour out of Crystal Palace is that Sheffield Wednesday want Anthony Gardner. Will that mean CP keep an interest in Paul McShane ? Fingers crossed Macca has a good Euros(assuming he gets a game that is).

Thats not exactly what Bruce said. I would suggest that Bruce would not be willing to waste money on Turner now when he can get him for nothing next summer. FFS, Turner wont be that old come next summer either. There has been suggestions in the media that MON might let MT go but i would doubt it for now at least. TWT.

As for Campbell, phewwwwwww. We can do better.

Now that we have Steve Bruce confirmed, NP will have to look elsewhere. It would not surprise me that the un-named club that has bid for Derbys Jason Shackell is Lesta, especially when Derby say the bid was low.

He would be good experienced cover for McKenna imo and he does scores goals from midfield. 9 for Ipswich in the first half of last season before his move to WBA in Jan.

Competition foir places and Mckenna does need that to stay at the top of his game. But long term Oliver Norwood would also be a good signing especially as he is a free agent now. imo. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Hull City can find better out there without a doubt. I doubt that MON will let FC go anyway for now. MON is not exactly well stocked with strikers himself. Bendtner and Gyan have gone/will be going for starters.

For starters, IF Man Utd secure the deal with Nick Powell from Crewe then SB imo should try and get him in on loan for the season. He is quality and his alround game is much better, imo. <ok>
