There is no chance Killgallon will go to a club who is managed by Mr Bruce, I think he had a belly full of him at our club.
Weve got Chester and Hobbs at CB (Although Hobbs will still be injured at the start of the saeson) and both have been great and not sure if Turner would be first choice but we do need cover. We have a quite a few youngsters that we got from ManU but we need a striker preferably one who can hold the ball up (if rumours and bookies are to be believed were getting Heskey). We also need a couple of Keepers as Basso contract wasnt renewed and others were loans, we could also do with a winger or two
You might have an ex-keeper for us, apparently we're looking at a deal for Gordon. I'd love to see Turner back, but I thought it unlikely and it seems Bruce has now ruled it out too. Wickham on loan will do, though it seems Bruce's already planning on signing Heskey.
I'd be happy to see Noble, Knott & Laing out on loan in the Championship. These guys could be real assets.
Agree with Noble but not sure whether Laing and Knott are quite championship yet. I'd be sending both to Carlisle if possible.
Meyler would be a cracking signing for you, on his day he could be a top class premier league player but he has had a serious injury which has stopped his progress. Bramble would be decent he is certainly better than what you have currently got. Wickham on loan would also be a decent bet. I don't think there is any way MON would like Campbell go for free, he would score a hat full in the championship.
Don't know what your like for rightback/wing but the one player no one has mentioned that is as good as nailed on to go to you is Ahmed Elmohamady, Bruce seemed to like him in the team!
We have Rosenior at right back and Cameron Stewart on the wing right or left Am I right in thinking that the lad is Egypt if so there is a big chance
Newly-appointed Hull City manager Steve Bruce admits signing goalkeeper Craig Gordon is a 'possibility', but doubts Michael Turner and Fraizer Campbell will return to the KC Stadium. Gordon, who played under Bruce at Sunderland, is available on a free transfer after being released at the end of last season and he has been linked with a move to Wigan Athletic. Bruce, meanwhile, signed both Turner and Campbell for the Black Cats in 2009 during his early days in charge at the Stadium of Light, but has poured cold water on the prospect of the pair again playing for the Tigers. Centre-half Turner enjoyed three seasons with Hull before moving to Sunderland, while striker Campbell scored 15 goals on loan in 2007/08 to help the club win promotion to the Premier League. Great players "Michael Turner? Yes, we will have him back if that's possible, but I don't think it would be," Bruce said at his first press conference as Hull City manager. "Certainly Fraizer Campbell is the same. I know they were great players here, but my aim is to find some more of them if we can. "Craig Gordon is a possibility, but it would be wrong of me to talk about individuals." Former England international Emile Heskey is tipped to be Bruce's first signing, but he insists there is no rush to add to his newly-inherited squad. He added: "I know there is a clamour for new faces, and what I would say to Hull City fans is there will be, but we have to be patient and take our time. "The top priority is to analyse the squad, and when we get to work on July 2, everybody starts with a clean bill of health. "I am coming in to assess everything. The obvious one is a goalkeeper, and it doesn't take Einstein to work out we need one. "We will look and analyse the squad, try and make some adjustments and hopefully improve it to get where we want to be."
So apart from the three individuals he has talked about (two still being under contract to another club) what ****e has he spouted in the Sundays and has he been reported for doing a 'Ba Hammers'. Gordon would be a great acquisition but dropping a league and wages? Is Bullard still draining the lifeblood from Hull?
