Actually, I remember it being 5-1 before leaving.. in almost 8 years at the KC as a season pass holder I've walked out on all of 2 games, and that was one of them.

The only game I've left early was in 2003, and that was only because of my dads insistence - the ****.

Think you're thinking of the one at the KC (where it went to script for all of 3 minutes). Leaving the Turf Moor match (which was in October 2009) and thinking it all but confirmed relegation is a bit pessimistic.

Indeed, we didn't play that badly at Turf Moor, we left the truly appalling performance in the hands of the ref.
 
<doh> yeah I meant the 4-1 defeat at the KC, I read Turf Moor and instantly thought Burnley, without considering the venue <doh>

If I'd gone to Turf Moor I would have probably cried <laugh> I remember wanting to throw my telly out of the window when I was only watching highlights on MOTD.
