Yes, we defo need a loaned left back to help out Dudgeon throughout the season
 
We have absolutely nothing going into the new season, let's be honest. If all current expiring contracts are left, we'll have:

Oxley, Peet, Cracknell

Rosenior, Chester, Hobbs(injured), Dudgeon, Cooper, Bradley, McShane, East

McKenna, Stewart, Evans, Cairney, Devitt, Olofinjana

Cullen, Fryatt, Simpson, McLean
-----------------------------------
Add to that that we expect Simpson, McLean and Olofinjana to leave (and possibly more) We really have next to nothing.

What utter rubbish ^^^ this. Yes we need new players in for sure. But the new manager has a good ground base to work from. Letting Andy Dawson go (unless he wants out that is) is beyond stupid and he should be given another year. Still plenty of time for new players and much quality is out there. I dont expect to see the expected rush to sign players. Most Clubs are also in austerity and recession you know.


Phew, A near miss with Chris Kirkland. Thank god he has now gone to the Wendies. imo.

Clearly you've read into what I've said in a completely different way in which it was meant. I was simply pointing out that as of 30th June, unless the likes of Dawson and Garcia are given new contracts (suicidal not to considering our lack of depth) it's going to be a hell of a job for the new manager over the summer.

When I said we have next to nothing, I meant at this moment in time - not for the start of next season.

Interesting view point. Yes we shall have a bigger squad by August and ive no doubt that (??) will also wheel n deal the high earners. I think we shall see at least 7 new players in of quality. As we all know the squad needs tweaking not re-building.

New week yet the same shambles rumbles on. Ehab has flown to Portugal it seams but not on a holiday.
