Y not? He'd keep the Manure connection going + he has had success at this level before unlike some names that have been suggested as our next manager (Lee Clark for example!)

It's one of them like signing Chris Iwelumo as a player - would be worth having just to stop them doing well against us.

Bruce has got an excellent record against us!

I don't wanna piss on no bonfires here, 'cos I wanna see how this all develops but...

I don't see why anyone would take the City job at the moment. Surely you'd look at the way Barmby was sacked and think "this is trouble".

No manager worth his salt will touch us. They must be mental. Or lied to by the Allams re transfer funds...like they did with Barmby. We all know how that one ended.

I think we'll dredge up some ****ing **** after a few half-decent ones decide against joining up with a club whose owners are touchy and unpredictable.

This has probably been answered before but how long will this appeal process take?

There's plenty of experienced managers out of work who will know that when things go pear shaped between a manager and the board room then there is only one winner. Clearly none of us outside of NB/AP/Allams will know exactly how the relationship soured (unless you believe all you read), but those inside the game will probably see it as part and parcel of football management. I don't think we will find it difficult to find a new manager. We have lots going for us as a club - 8th place finish in the championship, potential to do better next season + board who say they want a top 6 finish next year. What better opportunity than to call the Allams bluff over buying new players than to appoint a new manager who will expect a decent budget?

    Sadly I completely agree.

Also Steve Bruce is a **** and a **** manager. He's a big name but actually crap at managing football teams. He spent absolutely bloody millions at Sunderland to the point where they should have been competing for Europa League places, but they were almost relegation candidates. Seriously he's really ****, and he's a dinner lady.

Like others, I've admitted I was wrong on several occasions about Bruce since we were linked with him. I don't pretend to get everything right about football.

If this is a childish, angry response to me pointing out you saying you're sick of people swearing on here only a few weeks ago and then throwing a load of ****s and ****s my way when it comes to me criticising Allam, then it really is incredibly poor from you.
