How many bottles do you have frenchie ? My nearest supermarket is a 35 mile round trip away.

Good to see Aldred on the subs bench - has been a Nowhere Man since arriving. A sign of Malky preparing for next season.

The new directors will be appointed in the next few days.

The club is still not substanable but well on the way.

    Plans for the Red Lion.

Players will be coming in during the summer, but some may go.

This came from a brief interview with Julian Winter.

Drinkwater can go back from whence he came, but I doubt that is what he meant. Loach, Graham and Cowie no doubt<wah>

If the rumours about Wiggins and Conway coming in are true, at least we'll have the left hand side of the field well and truly covered!

There were suggestions, no more, that the SW corner will be finished this summer, improvements to the pitch, and there are plans for the Red Lion. Add in the re-newal of the East Stand planning application, you have to think that there is more money available than has already been disclosed.

Maybe Mr.B is just the front man, or when he went bust he had money tucked away in trusts that were not disclosed.

I just hope that the situation is clarified next week.

Strangely enough BB he didn't sound as if that would be certain to happen.

After today I am not sure that it would be so bad to move Loach on if there was a good offer. I suppose that at the end of the day it comes down to getting an acceptable offer.

I didn't think we had North anymore...am I wrong? Would be good to give Bond a run out..Gilmartin has had a few and I don't personally rate him. I have to say, the best part of the 90 was watching that Marlon bloke falling over and the banter that ensued...but then, that doesn't say much for the rest of the game, does it!

Can't imagine that he'd just be the front man - looked a bit of a pillock after his infamous wobby interview.

Wonder what the plans are for the Red Lion. A new supporters club bar? That's something that has been sadly lacking over the years IMO - and possibly a major source of revenue being missed. Even the club I coached juniors for in Oz had a set up that Watford would be jealous of - a huge bar, restaurant, conference facilities, function room, pool room, gym, the works - and the highest level they played at was below that of even Luton <laugh>

I shall be contacting not606 to try to get Northolt_QPR's status as a moderator recinded. I thought they were supposed to be responsible and some of Northolts posts today certainly haven't been that.

Yes BB he looked a total fool.

The last time I noticed the Red Lion being discussed was during the time of The Salad Kings. Speaking from memory they were talking about needing to spend something like £2m to make it usable. Even if it were only half that amount there has been no indication of where that money would come from.

Do you reckon that he only uses his name in the UK, but in fact when abroad chooses to use his boat building name? ;)

Dire. What is it about Watford teams that ever since I started watching them that they have a difficult time against poor teams. Today's performance put me in mind of the games against Peterbrough and Plymouth last season.

A bad day at the office is not a phrase I care for but we had one today. Nothing went right. Danny had an off day, Scott was really bad (he was rescued by the linesman TWICE) Lee Hodson wasn't on the case, as was Danny Drinkwater. The referee didn't see any of the climbing that went on, the occasion where Will Buckley was pulled off the ball in the penalty area and only reacted late to all the time wasting by the Sky Blues.

Yes Brag, when there are still ten minutes to go and the commentators are saying that they do not see a way back, then you know that you will not get anything from the game. I really wonder about Drinkwater. He has not really done anything that I have noticed since we have had him yet he hopes to be playing in the Prem.
