I didnt say the Arsenal training methods - i said the set up. There is something not right. There were some discussions about the pitch previously (same structure as Wembley) and how it causes injuries.
We need to do a thorough investigation at the club, because the leg breaks and injuries are not normal.
Injuries come when a player is stressed, unbalanced, overstretched, tries to impress too much or tries to correct his own mistake in a hurry, lacks concentration and mental discipline. Professional players who play within themselves most of the time are very rarely injured. They can do nothing about a horrible tackle ( unless they are clever enough to foresee it and avoid) but they almost never injure themselves. I simple bad first touch or a bad positioning can lead to overstretching, the need to get the ball back from the opposition and as a result an unnecessary injury. Lack of concentration and injuries go hand in hand ( Diaby?) Arsenal are a team who clearly lack discipline and concentration, make small defensive mistakes too often due to the poor positioning. Any player can get an injury, but some are injured more often than others. That is because they more often put themselves in a position where they can get injured. This is a little bit like poker - it is not about luck, it is about knowing how to put yourself into position where you can get lucky and avoid situations where you can get unlucky. A reckless, poorly calculated move leads to the need of an extra effort which leads to an injury. Isn't it obvious?
Having said that Sagna is a pro who plays within himself most of the time, yet he had his leg broken twice in a year. But he could do nothing with this one:

" - The Frenchman has been ruled out of Euro 2012 with the break, his second of the season and the 29-year-old was unhappy with the 25-year-old.
“I think he did it on purpose,” Sagna told L’Equipe.
“He stepped on my leg. Play continues, I get back on my feet. And when I tried to control the ball, I felt a crack, just like the first time at Tottenham.
“He stepped right where the plate was. I think the plate pressured (the bone). It’s a neat break, just above the plate.”
The Arsenal right back said he was confident he would overcome the injury.
“That’s how it is,” he added. “It’s football. It has happened to others before me.
“I came back once, I will come back a second time. Even stronger.

I really admire this guy. Top top class, even on a bad day i am confident to see him on the pitch. Lets hope he will be alright. We need him.
