Yep. A sign that the footballing community has it in for them...poor old hard done by arsenal...

Juve's relegation was a disaster for world football? It wasnt, but ok...Oh, one of the big names going down equates to a disaster - how about river plate then?

Feels like I'm arguing with piers morgan...smug and clueless

Really????? Our players are harder than your players????? <doh>

As for Sagna...don't blame him for being angry...2 breaks in one season is awful and I hope he fully recovers ... personally I think he's wrong about it being deliberate but like I said I get why he's angry.

Arsenal going down would NOT be a disaster for anyone other than the fans and the employees and businesses that depend on match day money like local cafes pubs etc. The players would move on, the directors will keep their money and no one else would give a ****...just like if it was Man city, Man Utd, Liverpool etc. but it's all hypothetical as it'll never happen. Arsenal are well run (unlike Leeds) so dropping out of the top 4 won't lead to a financial melt down (and that's a big if in terms of dropping out of the top 4 any time soon).

I actually think Arsenal going down would be a disaster for football.

Arsenal is a well run, sensible club that have not gone out and spent wildly beyond their means. They tend to spend well and not pay stupidly over the odds for players (not saying they never have).

It would be sad if they went down as it would show you need to be burdened with huge debt by greedy, irresponsible businessmen if you want to compete at the top.

I'm hoping when the fair play rules come in the field will be levelled a bit and Arsenal will be able to compete for the title again.

I'm not really an Arsenal fan but I do appreciate their business model, which I believe should be the norm for all big clubs.

Why don't you enlighten us as to HOW Arsenal getting relegated would be one of the biggest disasters in world football. You've stated it but I can't see how you arrived at this conclusion. Apologies if you have but you lot are no different to any other club aside from the fact you seem to think you have a divine right to be top of the pile. Manchester United are arguably the biggest club in the world - They got relegated.
Oh by the way, Juventus were relegated in 2006.

  13. Em, well I know Juve got relegated - thats why I mentioned it as an example <doh>.

It depends how you understood the comment 'it would be one of the biggest disasters in world football'. Note this is not saying 'it would be one of the biggest disaster for world football'.

I can think of few other disasters at any club anywhere in the world that would rival Arsenal getting relegated - save for deaths, which I mentioned before.

  14. It is funny how a statement can be translated into something to get all worked up about. TBH even a complete ****tard could see what you were saying, but we have a few on here that haven't graduated to being ****tards yet.
