Ok, thanks, I appreciate your candour. Guess we will have to wait and see what develops.

<doh> How very convenient that you decided to dig out a quote from a comment I made when it appeared extremely likely that the Allams would be selling the club.

I would issue some sort of retort, but you've already made a big enough tit out of yourself that I don't even need to try - the fact that you genuinely think I don't know what I'm talking about because I'm a wee boy who has "only" been a pass holder for 10 years says it all.

    (Edit)

Oh, didn't see that, tatty bye then :emoticon-0165-muscl<party>

Actually, I think it's Ehab and Darren Robinson who are best mates, Robinson knows Davies from his time at Forest, I don't think Ehab knows him very well at all.

Like him or loathe him, I would still say "MadHog" has a right to an opinion.

course he does, i personally think a lot of what he says has a fair point too, its the way every posts comes with a dig at other fans that becomes a bit tedious.

Madhog you complain that people are abusive to you, take a look at yourself, I have never collected a giro or boo'd at the players and I don't actually believe things I read in the papers or things people put on here I actually think about it, analyse it and come to my own conclusions whether you agree with them or not. You actually drive people away from these boards with your constant digging at people, just face the fact that everyone is entitled to their opinion and their say without having to be ridiculed and insulted.

I'm more than happy for Madhog to stay around, jacking in taking a pop at everyone at every opportunity would be preferable, but he's certainly entitled to his opinion.

I support the Allams more than many on here. I also support Nick Barmby. Some posters believe what they want to believe, me I have to believe what I feel is right and that has to be based on what is in the public domain. It also means that as more information comes out, I have to review my stance.
Mad hog has expressed his views and some have responded to them poorly. Stopping posting or even getting angry is not worth it.
The trolls will have their fun, so what. I am a sad fat ****er who knows nowt about owt and I don't give a ****.

Yep, fair comment. There are a lot of people on here (especially from other teams like Leeds/Leicester etc) who, when they don't like someone elses opinions, resort to abuse. You might have thought they'd at least try to be witty, but many are too stupid for that. However, we must try and be patient and help to guide them to seeing the error of their ways. And if they can't be helped .........................well **** 'em then.

It must have hurt me to recognise that based on what the insiders have said, there might be some good news on it's way? Not at all, I've been happy to listen to the insiders the whole time...

I'd love to see where anyone posted any of the bold bits.

So Adam is a business man meaning his best interests aren't necessarily with City, but the same doesn't apply to the Allam's?

Also love how you end the post with a bit of wild speculation with absolutely no substantiation. Who told you Nick is matey with the players? Or is it just that he's popular with them and you made that up?

People keep denying it because they want it to be wrong, but it hasn't actually been wrong at all in any of this has it?

That's what I mean. 4-4-2 would have probably meant dropping Koren and not a good idea for that reason.

    Women do know about football.

The question I really want to ask Madhog and others though, is this: If OLM is such an untrustworthy source and the things he tells us are so wrong, how come the second he tells us the situation has changed (and therefore there is an opoportunity for you to say he was wrong all along) you suddenly believe him straight away? That's incredibly convenient isn't it?

Haha, sorry Andy I'm filling most of these threads up with some massive posts but it's just the sheer quantity of posts I disagree with which I'd hate to see left unchallenged when they are such nonsense.

What is there to gain by highlighting another posters comments and deriding them. It only wrecks any sensible debate.
I am sure that OLM has access to one side, but not the other, so his information has to be taken in context. You can spin in two directions.
Last week I was told that staff where laid off because of changes to things like the lottery as it was going online.
Last week my daughters firm gave notice of 500 redundancies in Southampton. **** happens.

Am i the only one who think Nick coming back is a bad idea?

Surely if you have being screwed over once you are going to be worried? If he NB comes back neither the Allams nor Barmby will trust each other, what good is that for a working relationship? Yet the fans will take sides, and there will be a dividing line. I am a huge Barmby fan but him coming back now is surely far to late.

Anyway i am pretty sure i heard Barmby was definately gone by those in the know? Has it changed from when i went to work this morning?

i see where your coming from, mentioned something similar elsewhere, i want barmby in one way, but in another way i dont see how it would work, there would surely be underlying resentment..

Then everything Barmby has done will be un-done and a whole season wasted. I think on the pitch keeping him would be a good idea, but would they know not give him the money? Does he not have the money he needs to strengthen?

Surely now every decision both sides make is going to be scrutinised to the highest level to?

We just have to move on somehow.

OLM's thinks there might be a chance they've realised they over-reacted a bit and there might be talks ongoing to try and sort something out to keep him here. Things seem more uncertain than ever if you ask me. He hasn't said Nick is definitely going back to his job.

Based on the reasons you've mentioned, I'm still a bit doubtful whether it can happen. I really hope so though.

The bit that worries me 'trying to sort something out', thats no working relationship for our chairman and our manager. With Nick in charge all we will constantly be speculating is how long has he got? Thats no way to plan for the long term.
