To me it is obvious that Barmby was appointed to appease the fans until the end of the season (they didn't want a costly mistake where they bring in an experienced name on big wages and have to sack him at the end of the season/target not allowed to take job till end of season - Billy Davies). To get Barmby to take the job they offered him a contract with no intention of letting him complete it. They give money to the black and whites to try and encourage Adam to leave. The tea, fail to get top 6, Barmby moans about needing funds. There is your excuse to get rid of both and get in someone who is actually wanted by the Allams for next season.

It does seem like all their statements and back up evidence is a bit too well prepared for this to be a spontaneous bust up. It seems preemptive to me.

Barmby was happy to stay caretaker, it was the Allam's who pushed him to become the permanent manager and they never gave any money to FC.

In other words, ****e conspiracy theory.

And they wouldn't have had a clue who Davies was until Robinson arrived, and NB was manager by then.

I wonder what NB thinks about this Robinson bloke? He seems to be a character lurking in the background feeding the Allams prospective replacements for Nick's job.
For those who know their Shakespeare; Cassius from Julius Caesar or Iago from Othello maybe?

I think you have answered your own question

Read his website and he is the next Mourinho. A lot of people and newspaper speculating that he is in the ear of the Allams and is a big fan of his ex boss Davies. He has has a lot of different jobs over the last few years
