is there any way of getting back to good old text only? it just seems to take ages to navigate around the threads - one of my favourite pasttimes is catching up on a days worth of posts

But I do like the no 3 minute rule, and the fact there's no last orders is great

But 'Sheriff' Northolt...how did that happen?

Ha ha, damn it!!! I have NEVER managed to successfully pull off a decent April Fools!! I thought I would go for it anyway, just because I liked the irony of George Michael being a driving force.

I think the best April Fools was when I managed to convince my mum that at the age of 10, I had been chucked out of school.
 
There is an article in the wobby about the takeover only being days away! There is some interesting bits in it ,namely Lord Ashcroft has structured the deal to protect WFC !! also Fransen has deferred payments to himself until 2015/16!!! So at least that sounds a little more promising that and Baz\s interest free loan of 7M!

Morning all. I like this Nest far better than the 606 Nest but the amount of space wasted with all those displays of bars, achievements the amount of scrolling up and down is driving me potty.

And then the penny dropped. If you reply to the thread there is a very neat text and smilies only version beneath the entry box. How come it has taken me three months to spot this?

If only this view was possible as one of the options for viewing the thread. Leo, any chance of a suggestion to the "Board" - only if others think similarly of course.

Wahay, that's good enough for me!! I would consider April Fools Day 2011 a success. Thanks COYH!!

Woo, be good to have the achievement of "Longest Thread on NOT 606". I was very tempted to click on that thread that is currently in the lead, but given my past experiences of clicking on other threads on Not 606, I think I'll wait till I leave work...
