Ivanovic didn't seem to know he was out of the final which was a surprise or maybe he just didnt understand what this Shreeves idiot was on about

I'm not happy... nobody took out Danny Alves.

I'm glad Lampard had a go at spit the dog and he whimpered off afterwards, but Alves is one of the biggest tossers in football.

Greatest game ever in Europe, surely has to be 'And Solskjaer has won it' by an absolute mile for me.... Signalled the start of England having a say in European football again.

Tonight just showed that the PL is not dieing, and that attitude and determination, and a good team shape can get you a long way in football. I don't like Di Matteo or Chelsea but boy did i celebrate that last goal.

I have never seen so many fellow Barca haters.

Mates just posted this on facebook. Looks like Mike Basset got something right- three cheers for Ramirez

"Sky should ban Geoff Shreeves from covering the final. And then have his replacement tell him live on air."

Man Utd v Juve in the semi final was better than the Bayern v united final. They came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 away. And then there's the Liverpool v Milan final.

despite me losing cash tonight , i arent too bothered..
i wouldnt mind seeing chelsea win the champions league, mainly for frank lampard, i dont know why, i dont know him or anything, just for some reason i do <laugh> i started to switch sides during the second half, just like the russians turned on drago for rocky...
that was classic torres there tonight too, maybe a bad thing for england and a few others that he might be finding it just in time for the euros tho

I've liked him since that night in our first (I think) PL season when he came to the KC and absolutely tore us a new one, the best individual performance I've seen in 14 years of watching City.

That was absolutely ****ing brilliant, I love football, what a ****ing scream and I don't even like Chelsea.

Puyol, you're a ****, Alexis, you're an even bigger **** and Busquets, you're a piss poor excuse for a human being.

Pele was right, that Messi's ****ing useless. <laugh>

Loved it!

hats off to chelsea, barcelonas ****ing about as the clock was ticking down reminded me of somebody else...

It was like watching City at times, the possession they had in the last half hour without having a decent chance was ridiculous.

Fully agree with this, our best few teams all got knocked out pretty early on and everyone started going on about us falling behind the other countries but now one of our lesser teams has gone and made it to the final. The PL is still probably the best standard of any league, what used to be the top 4 is now a top 6 or 7 and they're all good enough to compete in Europe.
