Isn't that 6th in the Premier League beating the best club side in the world ever over 2 legs in a Champions League semi final? Maybe our league isn't dead after all?
Interesting to note that barring 2009-10, there has been an English team in the champion's league final every year since Liverpool won it in 2005. Not bad for a league that's dying. It's just the pundits who can't accept that because the PL is more competitive, it doesn't mean the league is getting weaker.
Just seen the highlights on the new this morning, looked a great game. What the **** was Terry thinking though?
And god knows what was happening to Gary Neville when Torres scored
Just a poor video that seems to miss off half the person's tv. If you see a better link http://www.fernando9torres.com/index.php?lang=uk then you can quite clearly see that he receives the ball in his own half, let alone where he was when it was kicked. agreed, said something similar after last week, i always thought he was overrated before that night, but watching him up close , he was class.. i think he is getting better with age too, where his game used to be mainly about getting goals now hes a complete midfielder imo, last night when most the other chelsea players where hoofing it up towards drogba, he was the one keeping things together, hardly ever gave it away cheaply, and made many crucial tackles...
