Has anyone thought that if "bottle" is used to indicate courage, guts, true grit etc, why doesn't "to bottle" mean to apply that courage to a situation rather than the opposite? Regardless of this interesting semantic issue, may I second a good post on here a few days ago in which s.o. said that all Saints fans should be at St. Mary's without fail next Saturday to pay homage to a team and manager who have done us all more than proud this season, independently of whether we're promoted or not. Are we brave and honest enough for that?

The guy asked if saints have bottle- since in my opinion we have bottled the big games (portsmouth home & away, reading at home and now today) then I stand by statement. What insults? I've trawled the thread and can't find any comment that might be construed as an insult. "whiny dick" simply means you're fond of a glass of Sauvignon now and then, why wouldn't you be?
