You guys have got the wrong end of the stick with that thread so badly.
It has ****. ALL. to do with the fact we're 'so far ahead'. That has 0% to do with it. What I'm talking about is the lack of contest between us on the table. And I actually asked you guys if you felt the same way as me. Last season I was so used to competing with you guys for spots on the table, and it actually came down to the very last day of last season when it was decided who would finish higher. Now though, with the gap (who's higher is utterly irrelevant), there's no contest anymore.
Christ, don't be so bloody offended that I said I've forgot about you as rivals and focused on other teams. I made that thread fully expecting some of you to turn around and say "I agree, I've been feeling the same way" and I wouldn't have minded at all.
Anyway, all I said about O'Neill was this:
1). He's not a god which can do no wrong
2). His honeymoon period wasn't reflective of his managerial abilities
3). His current run of form isn't reflective of his managerial abilities
4). He's a good manager
Madly enough, 95% of mackems would probably agree with all of those points, but because I said them...
We can all use percentages that suit. Like this, you have been top dogs for only 25% of the last four years. Or this one..We have six English league champions titles compared to your four. That's just a meagre 66.6% for your lot. I can't see that stat changing any time soon seeing how you haven't actually trouble the record books for well over fifty years.
