My take, for what it's worth, is that under MON we've overachieved to get back up the table to where we should have been under Bruce, and now things have evened out a little. Some of the recent results have been poor, as have the performances, but I think MON is in a different league entirely to Bruce as a manager. He's done marvels with the same players but he'll know we need to improve next season - we can't afford to stand stil. I've more faith in MON than I ever had in Bruce.
