I don't know which Arsenal fans are worse. The obvious gloaters or the ones who are patronising but not as obvious with their gloating...

The ones i detest are the twats who only come on here to gloat when things are going tits up for us. People like skid marks. Only ever hear from him when he's feeling brave. When it's all going wrong for the Chavs ( most of the season) you don't hear a peep from him.

In all fairness, I don't blame PESKIE for his scoffing, not at me, at any rate. I dished it out to him when it looked like the North London Power-Shift had finally been manoeuvred into place by the mighty Spurs juggernaut, and whilst I will vent my spleen on those who I believe to be the root cause of our Biblical collapse, I am big enough and man enough to take what is rightly due to me, as pay-back. It's not as if, being a Spurs fan, I haven't been here before.

Thing is, I can fully understand the utter frustration that Jayram felt during those turbulent times for you, and can't hold it against him that he said what he did, and it would be wrong for me to use that quote now. Especially as I have come up with some corkers, myself

I genuinely thought he was banned from our board, he tried wumming us early in the season and then went very, very quiet. Now he's back again talking rubbish
Don't think I have ever wummed the Spurs board actually. When you were doing well I said you were doing well, now your are not I am saying you are not. I actually think the rivalry and banter that goes with it is a good thing - and has been fully embraced by both sides this year!
At the moment I am enjoying the fact we are above Spurs - especially considering all the crap hurled at us this season. I think if the boot were on the other foot, Spurs fans would be having a lot of fun right now. Right?

I think the definition of a fair weather fan is someone who only joins the party when the club is doing well. Not me - I've been at the party and commenting on what is actually happening rain or shine. I think it would be completely deluded to have chatted about how great we were this season when in fact we were ****.
Acknowledging we were ****, and then being happy we have finally improved is pretty reasonable I would say. Some on here, including one of your MODS (and one of ours) seem to think delusion is a pre requisite for being a fan. I don't.
Jayram is a loyal fan,only this season he paid £106 for two tickets for a game but didn't bother going.You can't get more loyal than giving your team over £100 for **** all

Yes, he probably did go over the top when Arsenal were in the mire, and we know that because us Spurs fans knew full well (despite what we all might have said in jest) that they wouldn't be floundering for very long. And, we all wanted Whinger to get sacked, because we all know that Arsenal would be weaker for it.
But I think Jayram was simply more susceptible to frustrations than other AFC fans.
Also, I can distinctly recall that Jayram had at least as many people who supported his views than who supported PESKIE. Indeed, at one stage, PESKIE almost had a revolt on his hands, with many people calling for him to step down as a mod.
Passion is all part of the game. It would be a poorer world if we all supported our team with the same degree of dispassion as a Chelsea-supporting, champagne-drinking, cucumber-eating, business executive, who buys a box and only ever goes to one game each year.
