There's still 15 points to play for, it's not over yet.

Which is mainly down to Wenger yet so many want him out even now!

Even if we finished 3rd we could still lose players. Neither of us can match the wages paid by the top two so if they want to poach they can and cl alone won't stop players leaving. I know its importance in other aspects although most of it is financial benefit.

Just a shame the Europa, fa cup and carling cup have all been devalued so much by the cl

  6. Erm, I think you are mistaken. I have not slagged off virtually the whole team, though one or two certainly are not good enough. I challenge you to go through our players and tell me which ones I have slagged off.

Writing the team off - nah, just said we were crap at a time we were crap, and been critical over the last few years on some obvious issues.

As for the manager - I think he should have gone long before now, and still think he is failing as we're nowhere near challenging for the league.

However, some of you Spurs fans (not all, but certainly you), when you passed us earlier in the season gave it the biggun'. I told you then you might not stay above us long, but you wouldn't listen and laughed. You were too busy acting as if only one of our players could make it into your team, and it was a done deal that you would finish above us.

I am afraid that is currently biting you in the arse, and as I also said at the time, if we did catch you, St Totteringham's Day would be the sweetest ever.

It looks like Arsenal fans are going to have the last laugh - again. Can't say its been anything other than a poor season for us, but finishing above Spurs sure makes it better, especially considering how much you enjoyed your brief time in the sun <ok>

You're an embarrassment to your club, Jayram.
You should be hiding somewhere in shame, but instead you're on here mouthing off, despite your total lack of loyalty.
    Pathetic.

  8. <laugh> Sounds like you are a little sore.

There's a large group in perfect agreement with the issues I have called out on our club - but we're all always rooting for Arsenal, and especially happy when we best Spurs. You don't have to have your head buried in the sand like dear old Piskie to be a fan you know.

In terms of embarrassments - did you see 'Arry's interview. Now that was embarrassing. So is your teams' complete collapse.

As for pathetic, well I would point to Gareth Bale - 'nuff said.

I'm just pointing out the indisputable truth, Jayram.
You've spent the bulk of the season slagging off virtually everything about your club and now you're mouthing off on our board about how great you are.
You're humiliating both yourself and your club.

Considering ow far we've come in a short space of time, the fact that you've had our breath on the back of your neck for a few seasons now, plus this season we've been above you most of the time - AND could still finish above you, tells you the gap has closed.
Oh, still want Wenger out, do you?

  11. No argument there - you have closed the gap and had overtaken us earlier in the season, but it looks like being short lived.

As for AW, he should have gone two seasons ago. He's made some horrible errors and has presided over another poor season. There are finally some positive signs at Arsenal though and I have said on several occasions that if he changes his approach I would be more supportive of him. Summer window will be important.

  12. Actually I am not mouthing off about how great we are - that's just your gut wrenching disappointment confusing you. What I am happy about is Spurs' collapse and that we look like finishing above you. If you actually read you would know I consider this a poor season for us - just better that we may well be celebrating another St Totteringham's Day.

All managers make mistakes but I think its your board that is the problem. No coincidence it all started going wrong when Dein left. Wenger was mighty successful before then

  14. I partially agree with this - but AW has to carry the can for some of the poor decisions he has made and for the lack of character shown by the team over the years. It's up to him to make sure the team are set up correctly and play at 100% for 90 mins. The board can not be blamed for some of the schoolboy defending over the years. Defensive coaching has played a large part in our struggles over the last 5 years.

I wouldn't count on it being short lived!

  16. Now that's fighting talk! Much better than the 'you criticised your own team so you cant be happy when you best your bitter rivals' bollocks <ok>

It's certainly not done and dusted yet - we need to go and beat Wolves and Wigan. Nothing is easy at this stage, but you will understand that if we do it - after this season - there will be some mighty happy Gooners out for some gloating over their Spurs mates!
