Remember McCall and Lambert both failed in their first jobs in football ,Mccoist would have been sacked if your club hadn't gone into Administration . This morning a spurs fan on Talksport wanted Redknapp out and replaced by Lennon ,loves his passion , least Lennon talent is getting noticed down south.

Fair enough with the McCoist thing, but you could argue Lennon could have been sacked himself last season, but for the external stuff he couldn't control. I mean he said himself at the weekend that winning cups doesn't cut it you have to win the league. So the pair of them are similar in that they kept their jobs without any real success in their first season (admittedly Lennon won a cup and was up against a vastly more experienced and successful boss like Smith).

Maybe Spurs will keep Redknapp and Lennon will get the England job! I actually think Lennon will leave in the summer, that's not me trying to provoke a response just my personal opinion.

What route do you think is best for a manager to follow though? Just take over a top club or work your way up through the ranks?

Another fine young manager, Danny Lennon is on the back of my local paper moaning his face aff today at Rangers penalties - particularly McCulloch's one which seemed to be given for him having a sit doon <laugh>

This is all overshadowed, though, by the gripping tale on the front page of a 55 year old woman being gangraped repeatedly by "10 or 11 different guys, repeatedly".

Shirley not? I just heard Gollum on the telly saying both managers told him he got all the calls right.

Nope - he says in the paper that they're considering appealing Tesselar's red.

Headline reads

WE WERE ROBBED!
Lennon reckons McCulloch "conned" whistler

<laugh>

It's a pretty biased local paper, right enough.

I'm still beeling cos it cost me 45p, it's about 16 pages thick and my wean's picture isnae in it <grr>

A whole page of it is some psychic ****e <laugh>

Local papers are gash.

The Edinburgh Evening News blames everything on the trams.

"Man, 58, Robbed In Broad Daylight. Trams To Blame"

Well if it's not Derek Riordan it has to be the trams.

The Paisley and Greenock papers are the stuff of legend. My favourite Paisley headlines include.

Skeleton mugger baffles cops
(a guy in an actual skeleton costume was mugging folk in toon<laugh>)

Shoe stealing gang claim yet another victim
(turned out that this gang weren't actually heroin-crazed nuggets selling shoes but a bunch of reasonably heeled students claiming trophies)

They've used the word "rammy" in a headline several times.

"Local shopkeeper shot with crossbow again" - It's a shop just across from my high school. Jav (massive perv) must have got shot by a crossbow 4 or 5 times in robberies.
