Do you think that is because Richardson is encouraged to get forward so much or that you do not think he is good enough positionally?
Bit of both, though I don't feel any more comfortable with Butterfield back there either. Rather either of them at RB than Jack Cork though.
Danny Fox get's forward just as much, but we're not nearly as vulnerable down the left. Maybe that's because of Lallana though.
I think it is very sad that at one of the best times to be a Saints fan one of our players is having it ruined for him. If we get promoted, this should be a highlight of Guly's career. Very sad indeed.
I noticed at the Pompey game after he was taken off he went down the tunnel before the end of the game, which I found a bit strange. He didn't go straight away, I remember he got up off the bench and walked down the tunnel, just like he'd got bored watching or something!?
I just cant agree with this im afraid, he really dosn't help himself Fran! My opinion of him has dropped after his attitude today in particular.
No. What do you expect the lad to do? He puts in effort, as much as any other Saints player, yet gets **** from our fans after one miss-placed pass or sarcastically cheered when he does something like complete a pass or win a header. He needs support, the guy is in a completely foreign country, doesn't speak the language, and instead of trying to make him feel at home, some c*nts only decide to pick up on the negatives rather than the whole host of positives.
If I were him i'd feel isolated and unwanted.
After all he's done for us, all the goals and assists, there are still ****ers in our fanbase that literally hate him.

A very good point. I hope it doesn't effect Guly in the long term. You can say what you like about Puncheons temperment and what may or may not have happened behind the scenes, but alot of that saga was borne from him being isolated by the fan's even though we were climbing the league table. Although it might not of manifested on the match day's until more recently, there's been alot of negative commentary on this board surrounding Guly for large portions of the season, unjustified given how the clubs done - and how his stats show he's contributed to that success. I just hope that he can hear the sensible fans at the next game,I deal with the public every day and almost all are lovely or at least polite, but it just takes one of them to be unreasonable and rude and it ruins my day
****ing hell, some of you really don't know anything about football. I almost want Guly to go now, so he can play for a club where he is fully appreciated for the all-round, intelligent footballer he is. I wasn't aware that running around like a headless chicken for 90 minutes was a justification of commitment. It's remarkable that such a rounded, classy footballer in double figures for goals and assists, and such an integral, ever-present component of our most successful team in many years can be so hounded by his own fans. I am aware it's only a minority but for ****'s sake.. poor, poor guy.

Yeah awful attitude. He should have apologised to each of the fans who had come all the way to South London (and had to stand up for 90 whole minutes) for completely ruining their day with his abysmal performance which completely overshadowed the team's victory.
