I'm not saying I want anyone in particular, just thought I'd shout a few names out.
There's also Heskey, but let's not go there <laugh>

Andrews has played most games since arriving at West Brom and has scored two in seven, I'd be surprised if he doesn't get offered an extended deal.

I would imagine he'll get another year - but like I said, these are just names that are currently expiring, not ones that will necessarily be available for free in 3 months.

How do pre-contract deals work exactly? Is it something like a month before contracts expire that we can speak to a player without asking permission?

It's six months, so players who are out of contract this summer will already be talking to other clubs(at least their agents will).

In relation to McShane, he has one year left here so IF Palace for example offer him 2/3 year contract that would surely be an improvement on what he has left here. City get him off the books at last. Win Win for all parties. Same with Ghilas in France i assume.
Can only see Oli leaving IF Sheff Weds get promoted and Dave Jones wants him there. Time will tell.

I dont see any of the players that NB wants to keep leaving at all. Why would they as with the right additions in the summer this squad can kick on next season. Many of the younger lads are maybe a year away from being PL ready. There wont be much money flying around overall as many clubs will have to get there books in line with FFP regulation first and formost. That could one of the reason why Hull City are being frugle at present.

McLeary has been offered a bumper deal by Forest (I've read the report in the Nottinghamshire Post, it's my local rag) so even if he does decide to leave Forest he will be way out of our wage bracket.
Butterfield is out with an ACL injury and unlikely he will be back before the start of next season, why would we take a chance on him without seeing how is injury has effected him (look how **** Cam has become).
If Gerrard had wanted to be here he would have stayed in the summer and unless we do lose Chester then he's unlikely to uproot his family to play second fiddle here when he could be first choice somewhere else.

You might as well have dropped in Nicky Maynard for good measure!

Mind you Frenchie, when we win all our remaining games and win the play offs as you still seem to think will happen I'm betting your shopping list includes Ronaldo and Messi?

What a load of utter rubbish. You really are clueless charlatan and as for bollox then your post above is 2nd to none. The names i gave are my possible targets that would improve what we have now. I never said we would go for them all but as most are free transfers they will all be open to offers. Who knows what the summer will bring. But you may wish to think about a name change. Boothferry legend ? nah,, more like A Boothferry Leg End.!!!

If McShane is on £15k or more here, a 2 or 3 year contract at Palace is only likely to earn him the same amount of money because I can't see them paying him more than £6k. If that's the case we're likely to have to pay something to him to make it worth his while.

Same with Ghilas, he has a £1M contract and will be lucky to earn that in 4 or 5 years at the level he's going to end up at so we're likely to have to agree a payoff with him as well.

It is. The 6 months applies to every club anywhere else in the world signing players from anybody, but if an English club wants to sign from an English club they have to wait until 1 month.

I'm clueless? I bet if we made a thread of all of your posts throughout this season, a good 80% of them would be utter bollocks. You come out with the most stupid things I ever read on this board! What was it the other day, the current form table is no reflection of current form? Or some such bollocks. You fill this site up with your high and mighty 'everyone is wrong but me' attitude.

You aren't a proper fan, we're obviously going to win the playoffs, and once were up we're going to sign Torres and Carroll to fix our scoring problem. Plastic.

IMO, IF McShane gets a 2/3 year deal from Palace he will wave the last year of his deal here. He does not come accross as a money grabber like many are. Either way i think that McShane will be removed from our books come next season.

As for Ghilas thats another matter. Hopefully something can be agreed to also get him off the books. Those 2 deals especially really do show what an Utter Clueless Tit Dufferman was. It really does begger belief. No wonder the club almost went bust.

Subs: Jakupovic if signed, others of Dudgeon, Cooper, Bradley, East, Cairney, McLean, Cullen, new signings not in first XI etc

Outs: Mcshane, oli, Ghilas, Devitt, Atkinson, Gulacsi, Harper, Simpson, Adebola, Oxley

Mr Tickler, I think you are very wide of the mark on your assessment of Boothferry Legend. He has supported City for years and to start name calling is a wee bit stupid dont you think? Have a difference of opinion mate buit theres no need for all that bollocks.
