We all have different tastes when it comes to food time..... Now myself i live on food that you in the uk will pay through the nose for, from take-aways and resturants etc... How-ever i have just taken delivery of a nice oven imported from Germany..(i know an oven ,but a bit of a novelty here)... I have been out and purchased a duck, a full duck, which i then had to duly lob it's head of..(it was already dead though) So tonight i'm having duck (in oyster sauce), with roast tatties, and veg......and this is a novel thing as i havn't had roasties for a long long time... But when it comes to scran time what do you prefer? Are you a traditional English food eater, maybe fish and chips on a Friday..Sunday lunch. Are you adventurous when it comes to the cullinery delights? Or do you mix and match it all in? Do you do the hottest curry available after a few pints and then regret it next day? Basically, what is you taste buds preference? Well it is quiet....
I had pie, mash and tried a jellied eel in hackney last week. **** that, sticking with pizza next time.
If I'm pushing the boat out then any kind of shellfish Tonight the boat is definitely in as I'm making shepherd's pie for tea
On my world travels I've tried and enjoyed all sorts including insects, but always crave a proper Sunday roast with yorkies
Tapas while I'm in Spain. Indian after the beer. Italian out of choice. Pie and chips before footie. Full English sunday mornings. Yum yum. Food generally is a temptation pour moi. My latest diet has dragged me down from 17st 10 lbs to 16st 4 lbs. I'm ****ing wasting away here
Like it mate, keep at it... **** of Jerry the Jinx............Shepherds pie.....got me thinking now.......i'm gonna make one soon.
I will eat (virtually) anything, Indians even without alcohol, and not madras or korma either, vindaloo and phals, chinese, cajun, sushi anything and everything basically. I cant stand pork though, pork chops and the crackling off the pork I can eat but the pork meat ive never been able to get away with. Duck has to be crispy aromatic duck as well, suppose i just hate chewy meat/fat, it has to be lean/crispy even bacon I fry to a crisp. My favourite fish is swordfish, had it 10 years ago in Florida and its bloody lovely, usually get it about 3-6 times a year from Morrisons, usually have to order it in though. When I was a kid I wouldnt eat anything, really picky, how times change.
I like pretty much all cuisine that ive tried. Though Italian can be a bit too creamy and rich for my liking, though pizza is good. Had Reindeer when I was in Finland. Is absolutely lovely. Finnish food in general is awesome. Just really hearty stuff to keep you warm through the winter. Absolutely amazing. I do love a curry though. And fish and chips. Hell, if you give it to me I'll probably eat it.
im a vegetarian and always have been however i love food from around the wold and tried to get a cook book or recipe from every county i have been too since i was little
Genrally, I'll try anything. I've had kangaroo, alligator, crocodile (a bit grey and bland), ostrich, snails, testicles (no dodgy comments please. Strictly hetro) etc etc Still can't resist a proper Sunday dinner!
no just a veggie my family always have been also i always get asked about how can you live without meat... but the simple answer is if you have never tried somthing you dont crave it
Any French , Spanish or Italian food. I have recipe books for all 3. I also experiment with my own recipes like lamb chops coated in herbs and spices
