Everton played better and if they'd won i doubt there would be any complaints about it. Different game up at SoL and to be fair there was only one set of fans you could hear throughout. North-East fans, clearly the loudest.
Well I guess we were all right, a very tight draw. 2nd half they were the better side and were winning most of the high balls. I think Sess will be back for the replay!
Thought a draw was fair tbh. Everton had a lot of the ball but only really created one clear cut chance. We were away and defended well. Also the foul on Campbell 10 seconds before their goal which wasn't given when the ref was 10 yards away was a disgrace. So you could say robbed against Everton by a bad decision again. It was all Sunderland until they scored and that changed the game!
It could have gone either way tbh. I'm happy with the result. Can't wait for the replay. Did anyone hear the commentator say MON has never lost against Everton....? Hope this continues
dont know if anyone else has mentioned this but i thought the ref was quality today, handled the game very well indeed
two pennys he missed missed the foul on Frazier that led to there goal Was easily persuaded by dives Which led to the game being scrappy and a dive fest
cant see how anyone can complain about the ref tbh, imo he could have given a pen to both sides, he let the game flow at every chance and didnt fall for the diving and rolling around of players... respect from me
if he was easily persuaded by dives mate he would have gave them a pen for drenth (sp) on the edge of our box
You're missing two penny's lad. Well you're definately not a full shilling anyhow. He did miss fuzzy heeds foul just before the equaliser though.
