They were great years as I was born in 1989 I grew up through the ninty's and into noughties and I can say I had some good times through the Ninties

Byker Grove & Grange Hill?? early 80s mate..

The 90s - uni days, student union, playing pool, wasting hours on world cup 90, being lazy, watching The Word, watching Jools, Grandstand listening to REM, EMF, Inspirals, James, Milltown Brothers, Roses, Saint Etienne, Pulp, Echobelly, Real People, Blur and Oasis, working in Hornsea Pottery factory, travelling to kibbutz, to the USA on Summer Camp, booze, birds and the odd joint, Ostend Beer Festival, working in The Windmill, Beverley, winning a Hull & District Alliance at golf, first teaching job in Russia, moving to Turkey meeting my future wife...

then it all went downhill in the 2000s...

until May 2008... ;)

i knew grange hill started a lot earlier..but 90;s is when i got into it..byker grove wasnt that early tho was it?

I had this bad boy <cool> Got it 1997, together with "one game" that had 500 mini games in it, got so happy :) Some games just had different names with same content, but couldnt bother less :D I remember having some sort of "light-addon" to it. So I could play in the dark <laugh>

Otherwise I had Nintendo 64
Legendary games such as "Zelda-Ocarina of time, Bomberman, Mario Kart, Banjo Kazooie, James Bond-GoldenEye.

Etc. Really miss those days :emoticon-0120-doh: I remember being kicked out of the living room when dad was going to play "Duke Nukem and Turok", haha. I stood in the hallway and watched him play with help of a well placed mirror.

Some series nostalgia.....

I wish I could sit around all day playing video games and eating Ice-cream like I could 5 years ago.

Go for it mate! I've just spent the afternoon playing FIFA, giving the best players to Port Vale and simming 3 seasons to get them into the Premier League and UEFA Cup. And believe it or not, I ate ice-cream as I did it. And crisps. And alcohol. And Chocolate. And Peanuts. For FIVE HOURS.

Been a student is more work than the news makes out you know.

Believe me there are still days (sometimes weekends) when I slob around eating Ice-cream, watching football and playing Call of duty. Just not as many as I would like.
