    Inspired by BFL

The 90's, those were truly the days. No need to bother about anything and you could just hang around all day.The music was legendary :)wink:) and the World Cups were great (even though I can't remember 94 when Sweden took the bronze medal) :emoticon-0149-no:

I remember The Turtles, Spiderman, pogs, Pokemon, gogos, and who can forget the legendary Nintendo 64? And classic tv-series such as "Friends", "90210", "Fresh Prince of Bel Air, to mention some of them. The tacky hair/clothes-style. Everyone had the "Backstreet boys-look" :emoticon-0120-doh:

Oh, I forgot Game Boy colour, so excited when I got it, haha. It really puts things in perspective, in how fast everything "grows".
I played Pokemon Blue, legendary :D

Best bands of the 90's - Nirvana, Radiohead, Ocean Colour Scene, Stone Roses, Oasis, Manic Street Preachers(off the top of my head).

Some good stuff. But I mostly mentioned bands that I listened to when I was between 5-9, and it wasnt that kind of "deep stuf" ;)

Yepp :) Nirvana and Savage Garden, haha. Whatever my dad listened to I went along with. Some AC/DC as well, but they are way to off-topic, haha.

...add Pulp, The Prodigy and Blur plus you could possibly add some 80s-90s crossover with The Happy Mondays and late 80s/early 90s rave. But other than that, I think the Yanks did the 90s better, as I said in the other thread... 3rd/4th(?) wave ska revival with No Doubt, Sublime, Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Rancid etc... then Nirvana and co with grunge, Marilyn Manson, Rage Against the Machine, Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer etc...

Never heard of :) (checked them out at Spotify). I should probably be happy with my dad listening to Nirvana and AC/DC judging by my research ;) But I would probably have liked them a few years ago, haha. It kinda sounds like something from the series "Heartbeat". I loved that show as a kid, haha. Weirdly enough...

The decade of my birth, reading through this thread has made me nostalgic to my early years. Not a great decade for City unfortunately :emoticon-0106-cryin

Some good stuff there love the Stone Roses, Radiohead, Nirvana, OCS, Oasis & the Manics. Other stuff that's good from that era Inspiral Carpets, The Verve, Supergrass, Happy Mondays, Stereophonics, Massive Attack and the dance stuff like Chemical Brothers, Aphex Twin, Daft Punk, Prodigy. Although this taste of music started some years after the 90s.

Good thread Febbos. Dunno why Heartbeat is big in Sweden though.
