totally agree morison is better as a lone striker surgeryman <ok>

also agree with munky - there is a distinct lack of common sense shown by some posters but when anyone tries to point it out we get accused of ganging up or bullying. everyone has a different opinion but often the opinion is blatantly wrong or misleading. nothing wrong in my eyes of trying to correct it.

<doh> For fu.........

Thanks Super, that is a fair response. I don't necesarily agree with blatantly wrong aspect as that will be in the opinion of the poster. So we may have to agree to disagree on that statement.

and what exactly is wrong with what i posted?

I cannot speak for Gandy but when I read that comment it didn't half sound arrogant as if to say only your opinion is correct. If you meant it tongue in cheek then that's perfectly acceptable, if not then that comment comes across like you view your role as a preacher and the other posters in here as needing to be converted to your way of thinking!

I stayed out of the ongoing furoree last night but read with interest as things unfolded. My view on last night's proceeding is that this is an open forum and as such everybody is entitled to their opinion. If you do not like what somebody else has to say put it to them in a way which you think best describes your own way of thinking but do not expect them to change their views just because you say something different! If you cannot accept the fact that their is a difference of opinion then tough but do not resort to insults.

Everybody in their own way supports our beloved team and we might express that loyalty in different ways but the reason we have been on such a high for the last three years is that everybody has been pulling in the same direction. I would hate to think that we spoilt this site and became bitter and twisted against each other when the real enemies are 40 miles south and beyond.

Let's not destroy what has taken so much hard graft to achieve over a solitary cup game (and before you go over all the issues again, I have already stated that I believe PL made a mistake last week because I felt the preparation was not as good as it could have been.) However, everybody makes mistakes and I can forgive PL a mistake or two - in fact he has earned the right to make many a mistake and still be the best thing to perhaps ever happen to our club ever.

Now the dust has settled we need to regroup, reunite and move on for the good of our club, starting against Maure on Sunday. OTBC

Thanks Chris, that's pretty much what was in my head, and I suppose I should have elucidated at the time, but I was annoyed with the apparent arrogance and didn't want to say something I'd regret later.

Super, I've always enjoyed your posts, you appear knowledgable, and fight your corner well. You were like a dog with a bone on this one though. You made your thoughts very clear a number of times and couldn't leave it alone. Even if you were right, accept that people are allowed to see things differently. It's what makes this an enjoyable place to come.

sorry if i've offended guys but the thing which i was pointing out to be blatantly wrong was the 'arrogance' of another poster who thinks norwich can just turn up and beat a team like leicester <ok>

hope that clears it up <ok>

<laugh> No need to patronise me as well!

I'm just saying that there are maybe more succinct ways of pointing out the error of their ways.

Oh, and.........<ok>

The difficult thing here, in my opinion anyway, is that the words are typed and maybe don't always come across as they would do if we were having this debate face to face.
We are all passionate about our club, and if we were in a pub discussing these topics, yes there would be 'lively' debate, but I wouldn't feel the 'frustration' that I have felt coming from some of the posts on here, simply because we would be able to see each other's expressions and hear the tone of voices.

Just my opinion that's all.....
