Not really, if they hadn't overspent then there'd have been no reason for the Allams to come in.
So in a weird way Paul Duffen got us into a better financial situation than we could've ever dreamed of. I'll start collecting for the bronze statue tomorrow.
Yeah I did realise that, but I'd rather not have been in that position to begin with. And who knows whether or not the Allams would have eventually come in? Did they categorically say that they would never have been interested in the club if it weren't for the moronic business sense of Fartlett and Guffen?
If the club was on sound financial footing with Bartlett in charge, then I can't really think of any reason why he'd sell to the Allams at a price they could afford. So even if they did come I don't think they'd of got anywhere near. Of course the best outcome would have been Pearson selling straight to the Allams.
Bad move for Leicester if they are after Klose, he's over the hill and can't even get into a struggling Bayern team. Bayern would be happy to get any money for him I reckon. I follow Bundesliga very closely and God only knows how he did so well for Germany at the World Cup.

This rumour doesn't show the intent of your board, as it's complete and utter bollocks made up by a deluded fan. You couldn't sign him because he was not available to be signed, hence no discussion on the matter ever took place, that was the point I was making.
