I know the final is scheduled for the 29th May but does anyone have any idea when the 1st and 2nd leg of the Semi-Finals will be?

I can't seem to find anything on Google that will actually confirm the dates, SSN have got the games scheduled to be shown live but doesn't actually state which league is playing on which date.

    Thanks

I think the final is on Monday 30th May and not 29th!

Not sure about other dates, it is unlikely they have been decided but a logical guess would be weekend of 14/15th May for 1st leg and 2nd leg on 17th/18th May.

Whilst you're at it can you check the date for the FA Cup final? Because we have just as much chance of reaching that.

Twf'y don't be facetious, we have more of a chance of being in the play-off's, as we are still competing in the league for another 9 games, and, as you know, we were knocked out of the FA Cup.

When I saw the posts about the play off final date I became quite excited as I arrive in the UK for a vacation on May 28. Although our chances of reaching the final may be slim, the possibility exists and I thought how great that would be if I could attend as I have only seen City play live once since I left the UK in 1975. Then I saw your comment, what a bummer. I regularly see your posts and the responses of others on this board. I have deliberately chosen not to post my own comments but on this occasion, I would just like to say thank you for bursting my balloon. You really are a negative and miserable piece of work. Try changing your attitude and spreading a little sunshine for a change.

I don't get your point. Are you saying if I say they get to the play off final that they will? Because I don't think I have that much power.

It's not being negative, it's being realistic. We're not good enough this year.

Canada, Don't let twf'y spoil the dream for you, as you can see, for most of his statements that he makes, he is in a very small minority.

I hope that when you get here, that to his utter disgust, we have made the play-off's, and that you can enjoy the feel good atmosphere that will be in Hull, if that happens. <cheers>:emoticon-0103-cool:

As i have said before, and i will say again (with my small number of posts), TWF is not a City fan, he is a Leeds fan who gets bored and wants to wind people up on here.

He is a Phil Brown bum licker, someone who has only managed to win one game of competitive football in 365 days.

We are good enough away from home, our recent home form has let us down this season.
If we can sort that out, and win our next 2 home matches then the play-offs are again possible.
So I'm not checking play-off dates until after the next two matches,
although I have cleared myself from work on the Play-off final date (just in case)

I'm a City fan who looks at the table and watches the games. We won't make the play offs this season.

Greatest manager in our history, why not?
    Too far.

Well said <ok> TWF is entitled to his opinion, but when these opinions are consistently negative and critical of everything, it becomes rather tedious. Fair enough if you don't think we'll make the play offs, but try and put it in a more constructive way.

Ok so i watch the games, and i look at the table too. Were 5 points off the top 6, with forest falling like a stone, we are grinding out results and have one of the best (if not the best) away form in the league.

You must be a psychic to know we wont make the playoffs when there is still 9 games to go.

Phil Brown may have BEEN our most successful manager, but from November 2009 it wasnt really working. Yet you would still have him back? Look how we have improved since we got rid of "His team" (ok aside from Dawson who i do rate).

You clearly aren't a city fan because in our eyes you don't actually support them. I just don't believe you go to City games, you are clearly a Leeds fan.

Our home forms not good enough, I think we're 7th or 8th in the form table and that's probably where we'll finish.

We've gone from a Prem side to a Champonship side. Not really improvement.
I don't know who you're speaking for here, but it's now generally accepted I'm a City fan. I posted a picture of my season pass AND mug for Christ's sake.

We're 4th in the form table, we were 3rd until Burnley overtook us last night.

That might not be your mug, or your pass, or it could just be a picture of one in general. That doesnt mean your a city fan!

We have gone from a Prem side to a championship side "because" of Phil Brown and his silly signings. The broken crock Bullard, Manucho the one goal legend, Sonko (dont get me started), selling Michael Turner for peanuts (who was Phil Parkinsons player), upsetting the applecart at Manchester City.

Look at what Nigel Pearson has done with so little money reversing the rot of Browny. Its a huge improvement, as we effectively were doomed to League 1 if not for Pearsons shrewd loan signings (i mean come on look at Cameron Stewart). Even the acquisition of Fryatt, the player we have been missing since Marlon King was put on the naughty step (oh yes by Phil Brown).

I can't disagree that we will "probably" finish 7th or 8th, but its not for certain. You have gone from saying we "wont" make it, to "probably" miss out. There is absolutely no reason why we cant start winning at home again. We have the best, if not the best defensive home record int he league!!
