If i'm 'pedant' then you have also misspelled Mackem.

Hope this information is useful <ok>

You pedant, there is no definitive spelling of the word makem. My spelling is infinitely more likely than yours though, as I believe makem to be a piss-take on the ridiculous way you tramps speak. As in..."we mak'em, you tak'em". Hople this information is enlightening, tramp.

    Nope, not enlightening at all.

And what does 'hople' mean, you dopey ****er?

Sticking to me being a 'pedant', your paragraphing and punctuation is extraordinarily out.

Are you even English? I guess not.

Actually, mak'em is the correct way to spell it. Fom the old shipyared term, "You mak'em (make them) and we tak'em (take them)" Meaning the ships were built on Wearside and then brought to Tyneside to be fitted out.

    No, no.

In fact, your learned friend was more accurate, there is no definitive spelling, the same as there is no definitive origin of the word.

I'm merely having a bubble with him, as he felt that lowering the tone of the entire thread and calling Catts 'a Makem (sp) ****' was a good move.

    The sign of intelligence....

Wrong, pedant. Obviously not having much in the way of a brain, it would probably be too much for you to work out a typo, but to put you straight, hople is hope.

Abit of a pointless thread really cause we're gona back Catts and your lot Tiote.
Just hope both teams gets through next week unscathed so we can have our best players available. Should be a cracking match!

To make it more clear for you, I think that Smoggie makem ****, Cattermole, is one of the worst excuses for a footballer I've ever seen, who is purely intent on injuring other players. Hence my description, although I could have put it in more flowery terms, but I think makem twat just about suits. Cheers pedant.

Oh, and by the way, Cattermole isn't fit to lick Tiote's boots, no-one could seriously compare them.

    Great riposte.

    You really are supremely intelligent.

I have nothing but respect for a man who comes into a genuine and decent debate and name calls and insults.

    Bravo.

Crazy comparison, Catermole is no where near Cheik Tiote's level and won't be...

You can't be 'smoggie' and 'Makem', you can, however, be Geordie and stupid <ok>

For the record, i'm pretty sure Catts has no intention of licking Tiote's boots, he's not from Benwell, after all.

Not really a great debate, it started at 21:12 and I replied at 23:24, hardly full of wit and a fantastic amount of banter in nearly 2 and a half hours, smoggie makem.
