Basically thinking of our best starting 11 over the last ten years and who people would go with. I'll start -----------Niemi--------- Baird----Killer----Claus----Bridge ------------Marsden---------- -----Schneiderlin-----Chamberlain Walcott-----------------------Bale ------------Lambert------------- Bench: Davies, A. Davies, Dodd, Pahars, Jones. Anyone think they could muster a team that could beat that?
Haha, just behind alan Bennett, Zoltan Liptak, Alex Pearce, Chris Lucketti, and Callum Davenport in the pecking order.... I do Jest.
I'd go with: Niemi Baird Killer Claus Bridge Oxlade Cork Svensson Bale Walcott. Beattie Subs: P Jones, Hooiveld, higginbotham, Fernandes, Lallana, pahars, lambert.
Lol. I'd rather have 'one size' Fitz Hall. I also like to get Tessem in my team, he was a good value utility man and Marsadonna is a legend.
Interesting that only a couple of current players get into any list. Does that mean none could hack it or just we aren't sure. I'm pretty certain Jos, Adam and Rickie are top flight.
The problem is Jos is against Killer and Claus who were proven to be a class premiership pairing. Lallana Vs Bale is unfortunately no contest and Lambert is against Beattie and Pahars who were also vital for us in the premiership. I think Crouch would also give Lambo serious competition. I think all three current players you mention can cut it but they need to have a track record in the prem first.
I think Le Tiss retired in 2002 so would only scrape into the last 10 years. I can't actually believe it was ten years ago!
- Miller - Murty - Cranie - Lucketti - Bernard Kanchelskis - Pulis - Wright - Griffit Paterson - Delgado
looks like a world conquering team to me! That Pulis, isn't he the one who is 100x better than messi and iniesta's lovechild?
-------------Niemi---------- Dodd--Svensson--Claus--Fox ----Schneiderlin-Lallana----- Chambo-----------------Bale -----Lambert----Beattie-----
Niemi Bridge Svensson Lundekvam Dodd Bale Marsden Oakley Walcott Beattie Pahars No Chamberlain for me, he didn't do enough.
