please don't protest. I reject all those who slap grannies, but support all grannies who wear mini skirts, fishnet tights, low tops and bet lynch earings, and stand on street corners, winking their eyes at passing motorists, and.................... just off for a cold shower.
 
The captaincy is not really an issue when you are playing Glen Johnson aead of Micah Richards. Sort it out.
 
To be honest it had to come......I also think that he should be banned for playing for England. OK I hear you say innocent until proven guilty. Very true.......However through his alleged actions that is another England player that possibly may not want to play in the same side. (Bridge) I am sorry to say that it is time for footballers to find out there is a responsibility that goes with their extortionate wages.
 
have not read all this thread , but IMHO

INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY so should remain captain for that reason alone at the moment .

Cannot abide the bloke though .
 
I see Chris Huhne has had to resign as a minister to defend himself in court. Surely the captain of the national football team should do the same, and it's disgraceful that it has taken this long.
 
Yep! Not even sure he's still worth a place in the team. Nothing to do with his court hearing. He's just way past his best it seems to me. Much like Ferdinand.

Gerrard is the only one for me.
