Terry should have shown the grace to remove himself from consideration as captain in the interests of the team, but then one would never associate grace with this man.

To be honest it had to come......I also think that he should be banned for playing for England. OK I hear you say innocent until proven guilty. have not read all this thread , but IMHO INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY so should remain captain for that reason alone at the moment . Cannot abide the bloke though .

I see Chris Huhne has had to resign as a minister to defend himself in court. Surely the captain of the national football team should do the same, and it's disgraceful that it has taken this long.
