Even though I still think they will finish above us, the players that they have signed aren't exactly inspiring.
A 33 year old, injury prone striker who's lost his way a little and although he may have the odd flash of brilliance, is not what he lived up to be. Injuries have hampered his progress and if he is the replacement for Adebayor in that lone striker role, he will just get isolated up front. He's been goal shy recently, too.
A 34 year old defender from Blackburn who's made one appearance all season, is also injury prone and was not a necessary transfer at all, given how many centre backs Spurs actually have. Don't see the logic in that one, a real mystifying one.
Two very bizarre transfers which don't exactly fill me with fear in that they can finish any higher than the position they're currently in now.
For ****'s sake.
Have we all accepted as pure fact that St Totteringham's day is cancelled?
You damn right I'd be having tantrums, we have enough mediocrity at the club already thank you very much ! We need to lose the dead wood not add to it.

Actually Saha is a very good bit of business if he remains fit. He is still a quality striker and on his day can make the difference. All Spurs need is a back up striker that they can bring on now and again and make an impact. They already have Ade and Defoe so having Saha is a very good option. In my opinion, he is better than Defoe and is more clinical.
As for the defender, im not sure about but the experience he must bring will be important for Spurs who will be challenging for the league/top 3 finish.
the spuds have swapped Pav for saha and Bassong for nelson, i know which ones id have in my team maybe harry's mind is else where then the transfer window
Think about the difference in service he'll get at Spurs to Everton![]()
