Every player has his price! I think 6 million would make a 5.7million profit in 12 months! Not a bad return

£6 million? You just plucking daft number out your head, FT?

No way is Chester worth that.

Don't get me wrong he's been class for us, but it's his first season at championship level.

Yes it would, But there is a much bigger prize at stake here. Plus Chester helping City get to the PL and performing well could get the club £10-15m at least. Man Utd may even be keeping tabs on him, you just never know. As for now it has to be a No Deal which it will be. Assuming that a bid happens. Lets wait for something official first.

It wasn't French that suggested this figure but if Leicester did bid 6 million quid, I don't think we could reject that amount of money

I agree I think its just Leicester pissing around again and there bid wont even be half of the 6 million! However if 6 million quid was bid then we would not be able to turn that money away

Was it? I stand corrected then. And no you're right i wouldn't reject that.

£6 million for Chester is still daft money though. Leicester's owners desperation to go up is a joke.

No one in the promotion race is going to sell a valuable player now because there isn't enough time to replace them without being black-mailed into paying ridiculous fees.
I'm afraid Pearson has missed the bus and he'll have to make do with any dregs that are still available.

I would be absolutley amazed if the bid is anywhere near £3million, they're just trying to unsettle him and your right it is a joke

Nobody's going to bid £6m for Chester, he'll have stuck in some ****ty £1.5m bid to irritate us, while at the same time pushing Forest into accepting the Morgan bid.

It's irrelevant because Leicester will not bid enough but if we did sell anyone it would not be until we had a replacement lined up

I dont think that NP was the main factor in the man utd kids coming here. Calm down and see what happens eh ?

The Stewart thing ended in tears for NP and so will this Chester thing.

So you should. As for £6m yes it is daft money. DAFT IF we were to accept it. Chester will be worth far more than that in the years to come. Simples.
