Aswan- villa was a great result, we got the early goal which Made them come out and have to play. Knackered- i thought you supported Newcastle not man city? Thats 3 prem teams you support now! No Wonder your so happy, your team must win every week
" The Greatest of Expectations " ... A story of a Welsh football team that with little money & great play has left all of Europe & most of Swansea in awe !
If people want to Think the OP is harsh then im good with that, true idea of it is. That things sint as sweet as we like to Think and we Are firmly back down to earth after our media love- in the last week or so. I as much as anybody enjoyed the massive positives that came from the Arsenal game and the articles and radio that followed, villa,Spurs,Arsenal were all good games, after those performances a point at the mackems was not unreasonable to expect. What sunderland proved is that teams with lesser ability Will set out to stop us playing and keep it tight at the back, while teams with greater ability Will not, its the teams around us that Are the most important to take points from,Arsenal was a bonus and lets not forget that. I love the club,we all do i take all points on board as they have been well Made by all posters, of course knackered maintains his personal vendetta but im cool with that
Yes, Norway I'm sure you only put this thread up for the sake of debate. Nobody could possibly subscribe to this garbage could they? Oh, and well done on the back-peddle now you've seen the reaction to it.
Sorry fellas, but all the possession and tippy tappy crap isn't really going to get you anywhere if you only test our keeper once...from a freekick. I think Swansea are a good team and play some good stuff, but you played us on a bad day...you should have made the most of it. We won't play like that again. When MoN gets his players, playing the way he wants..we will have a very decent side...for now..we are just collecting points to keep away from trouble....so yesterday was mission accomplished. Nothing more..nothing less
Debate has two sides . It' s been at least a leap year since I 've read the positive side of the debate from you Norway when it comes to the Swans , that's all .
I think that was more to do with a boot to the face rather than Swansea pressing anything. Teams can "press" all they like if the return they get 1 or 2 meaningful shots the whole game.
A must of missed the part where it says " Comment- debate - create- freely - at all times against your club " Lol !!
Cracker- Last 7 Norway jack threads 1. Gylfi or Bodde. 2. very poor performance dont beleive the hype. 3 .No bodde for the reserves. 4. Tune into talksport now. 5. Van zweden v agent. 6. The missing link has arrived. 7. What the papers say. Cheers
Monty Python - The Spanish Inquisition. Our 2 main weapons are fear, surprise and a fanatical devotion to the Pope....our 3 main weapons are fear, surprise and a fanatical devotion to the Pope (or something similar). That's cheating Norway, you've just changed it! [He had last 5 Norway-Jack threads and then listed 6]
i have said it before and ill say it again. danny on his own up front in away games is letting us down. sunderland goals were top draw but we threw chance after chance after chance away, its no wonder Brendan was stunned as we did enough to win the game. well played to sunderland for two cracking goals and very poor to us for our lack of finishing.....with chelsea up next then we will have to play out of our skins to get anything from them.....
Ok lads let's get down to the nitty gritty aye! firstly I love the way some of these black kittens are coming on here, think they need to concentrate on their inept team, rather than thinking they are on the up, they could only park the double decker in the box all game, and to be honest, their first goal should have been closed down, their second I think was due to a bad call by Rodgers, if Britton hadn't been taken of for Routledge, then that second goal would never have happened in my view, Rodgers made the wrong call again with his substitutions, no way would I have taken Leon off, and yet the obvious player who should have come off for Routledge, SINCLAIR, was left on, and it's about time Rodgers woke up with his one eyed view of Sinclair, I'm getting a bit cheesed of with the way he thinks he can run into three opposition players and come out with the ball, and he continually fails to look for the advantage pass, yesterday we could have got a point, but with the only threat coming from the right wing, with Dyer, Sinclair should have been subbed early, so that he can start to think about his game. sometimes I just wish we had Borini up front, not knocking Graham, as he holds the ball up well and brings other players in well, but at close quarters in and around the box, we really do miss the clinical talent of Borini, if he was playing yesterday, no way would Sunderland have won that game!......................... please log in to view this image
