Really..? Matty's only [bloody hell, I just looked it up] 34. In any case, at his age he should still be able to play for 90 minutes. This isn't the 1960's, where at 30+ you were washed up.
His legs have completley gone. I think its something to do with a knee injury he had with you He was on loan at Exeter and got injured and then weird rumours he was signing for Oadby town
Matt is a bloody good player on his day............Legs may have slowed a bit but his ability is very good.
What's happened to Danns then? I work near Selhurst Park and got to see quite a few Palace games in the past and he always impressed me.
He looks out of his depth to be honest I think Sven got him back accident, i think he was meant to sign Sean Scannell but they looked the same and he got the wrong one
That does surprise me but so does everything else at Leicester City seeing as I had them as one of the favourites to go up this year. I reckon we'll win 1-0.
The only worry you should have is finding a way past Kasper Schmeichel, the rest should be pretty straight forward
I recon we could get a trouncing, but at least Pearson has said "changes need to be made". So may see a more determined team playing.
I hope you go for it against us because it will make it a better game - and of course Saints will be more effective in attack! Do you reckon Pearson will play for a 0-0 or a 1-0 like Bristol City a few weeks ago?
NP thrives on 1 goal wins, in his last reign with us, he turned some 0-0's into 1-0 wins, its not a fancy scoreline, but at the end of the day, its 3 points rather than 1, so it is effective.
Surely your not saying you will park the bus.........That would be disappointing. You have the players why not have a go...you did when we came to you!
Danns, while at Palace, was their 'go to' midfielder and everything ran through him. Whereas here we have Wellens (who is severely off form). SO Danns isn't getting the chance to play his favoured position, but when he has done he's impressed me.
What formation do you typically play? What is the energy in your midfield like? We have struggled most when teams have loaded the midfield, and close our players down quickly giving them no time on the ball (particularly in midfield). This is how Bristol City beat us home and away, and other teams that have been effective against us have played in a similar way. Not that we tend to play the long ball that much, but without Lambert, we won't be able to take that option should you close us down and prevent us playing our passing football.
