Brady is not 2 footed, watch him, he always has to switch the ball onto his left foot to cross/shoot/pass whatever, that right footer v Livercunts in preseason was a bit of a fluke it took a nasty deflection.

Koren only ever started using his left foot the season before he came to us, before that he was as 1 footed as they come, I remember thinking it's a bit of a myth when everyone was hyping him to be dangerous with both feet when I could only think of/find 2 goals he'd ever scored with his left at the time.

McKenna I haven't watched closely enough if I'm honest to even pay attention to what foot he's kicking it with, but I don't recall ever seeing Chester use his left foot other than to control the ball.

Stewart is kind of, you could argue it as he uses his left reasonably well when dribbling and taking people on however, like Brady, never uses it to do anything else.

Fryatt you have to be joking! Probably one of if not THE main reason he scuffs so many one-on-one chances is because he always switches the ball onto his right, that is why he always takes a touch too much. If he could hit it well with his left I would argue his goal return would be significantly higher.

At the risk of this thread going completely off at a tangent...

Brady's entire game is based on being two-footed. His main way of beating defenders is leaving it til the very last minute before deciding which way to go round, see Barmby's goal V Cardiff if you need proof of him having a good right foot. McKenna you wouldn't notice because he does everything very quietly, but I think his general passing around the midfield is very good with either foot, he's really good for being our 'Deep-Lying Playmaker' to put it in FM speak. Chester is a footballer as well as a defender, we know that. He is obviously right footed but he's definitely comfortable with both. Fryatt I agree misses far too many one-on-ones but the criticism of him (IMO) is that he takes all those touches when it's already in a good position, rather than just to get it onto his right foot, he's scored decent goals for us with both feet, that's all I'm basing it on.

I'm almost certain Brady's cross into Barmby was a left footed inswinging cross from the right. I'll check the highlights in a minute so we can prove it one way or another <laugh>

It was without any doubt at all, a right footed cross from the right wing.

If I need to explain why fans of the worst team in England's professional leagues cheering their side getting rid of a player we have loaned them, who you believe to be talented and potentially good enough for the first team, is not exactly a ringing endorsement, I give up.

Yeah, he's been loaned out to a bunch of League One and Two sides. At Rochdale, their fans seemed to be relatively satisfied with him, but then when you're watching a side that's in the top-three all season, it's hard to pick fault with anyone. They were hardly enamoured by his performances in League One, as far as I could tell.

PS. He has been dire in every game I have seen him play, bar one. The only game he was any better than that was the Wigan away game, which was little more than a friendly match between two sides with nothing to play for.

Jesus-****ing-Christ, the point was more that he has not and never will have as much ability as the players we already have.

He was ok for us at the beginning but to be fair went off the boil somewhat and has done nothing much of note for a while now. Grateful at the time for anyone who would pull on boots for us but now we are signing players again then thanks for the use but we are not too bothered about him not staying. Do not believe he will ever be one to rip up trees although his effort can't be faulted. Just an opinion of course.

atkinson needs to go out to another club because with plymouth assigned to the conference he needs to play for another club that is going to be relegated to full his quota.

It sounds like we're going to try and send him out somewhere else...

The 23-year-old, who sees his City deal expire in June, was recalled by Barmby, but the boss hasn't ruled out the winger heading off again.

"We don't want any of our young players staying out somewhere if they're not playing," said Barmby.

"It's better that they're back here for their development. No one has a divine right to play when they go out on-loan, but when it drags on, it's time to recall them.

"Will comes back to us to train, and we'll see where he's at. I'm sure there will be a few interested clubs in Will because he's made a name for himself.

"Maybe there's a chance for him to go out on-loan again, but we'll see."

Remember when Cameron Stewart couldn't get a game at Yeovil and we signed him? What a **** deal that was. now we can't even give him away.

It doesn't matter. The principal is judge the player not the situation. WA isn't good enough to play for us but he's a good enough footballer to go play bottom half of League One or in League Two, he's proved that.

I'm not arguing with you BTW, just those daft enough to think he should go and play at Ferriby or Grimsby or some other non-league tosh.
