■2/5 – Mark Hughes - viable replacement, right background for our position and can hit the ground running ■4/1 – Gianfranco Zola - NO: doesn't have the results needed to risk him getting us out of trouble ■8/1 – Sven Goran Eriksson - Too risky! ■8/1 – Rafa Benitez - not for a relegation battle. ■12/1 – Guus Hiddink - I wish. Not a hope in hell! ■16/1 – Steve Bruce - No thanks! Don't rate him, still on rebound from Sunderland. ■20/1 – Ruud Gullit - Too late, he's had his day. ■20/1 – Roy Keane - NO!! NO!! NO!! ■20/1 – Jurgen Klinsmann - Please! Not a chance. ■25/1 – Paulo Di Canio - Won't even respond to this! Joke! ■25/1 – Gordon Strachan - Why would we ever choose him!! NO! ■25/1 – Marco Van Basten - Dream on! Lack of PL experience for relegation battle. ■25/1 – Phil Scolari - Won't happen.
It also shows the main problem with our Club. We kick out even an excellent Manager like Neil after just 6 weeks of not so good results. Sicken me.
If your club had any ambition whatsoever you'd be looking to take a manager away from a club, one who is proving that he can make it happen, rather than casting around for the rejects of other clubs and who are without gainful employment? Hughes, Keane, Stachan, Bruce - all these managers failed in the EPL, and yet you seem to think that they'd do a better job than Warnock. Surely, you should be after the likes of Moyes, Hodgson, Coyle and MacCarthy?
What with some of the crazy names being bandied about, I thought I would throw in one the worse possible managers into the ring. Sorry.
Hughes doesnt belong on that list as hes done well and resigned and wasnt sacked. Why would we want a manager from a team below us and 1 place above us?
