Nobody has ever disputed that he made the right decision for himself. The problems came from all the comments about him only wanting to sign for us running for several weeks and him then ****ing us off for the extra cash. If him/his old man had just kept their traps shut while they waited for their better offer there wouldn't have been a problem, then the little twat decided to rub salt in the wounds with the nature of his celebrations against us.

Well put........If he did come back I would not boo him but I would have no respect for him. the above quote is the reason why

Well Turner was the 2nd player he told me! All I will say is we HAVE approached Sunderland for Campbell and possibly Turner. We will have to see how it pans out.

I think someone else has already said that Turner would be a great striker.....

I don't believe all these Sunderland rumours but...............

................Mannone

........Hobbs Chester Turner

Rosenior ...................Dudgeon

............Evans....Koren

Stewart.......Fryatt........Campbell

Tell me why that isn't a cracking team.........

I would have gladly have beaten him to death after that game at Sunderland, but if I'm honest, I'd love to see him playing in our current formation.

But I don't expect that there's any chance I will.

And the Turner rumour is definitely rubbish.

I'd welcome Campbell back in a City shirt - if Barmby wanted him + we got him why not? Sure, all / most players celebrate when they score (and sometimes against their former teams. Anyone remember Keith Edwards? Did we boo him when he came to us from Sheff Utd for a second time?

not sure if it's been discussed already but I'd have suspected that the davies from BWFC move is off. played in the last few games and looked very useful. think coyle needs all the talent he can get. shame though cause he looks class.

He was Nick's No.1 target, the deal looked to be done, but Bolton picked up some injuries and Davies took full advantage of his opportunity. Good for him, disappointing for us.

Re: Davies - read somewhere that WBA were looking at him and figure of £4m was mentioned...? Probably safe to say he won't be coming here on loan especially as he's now in Bolton's first eleven

Isnt it general concensus from his comments at the time on twitter / facebook (i forget which one) that he didnt want to sign for Brown and preferred to play for Bruce? Well both elements are irrelevant now....

The key thing about Campbell leaving us was that he did go to a better club and as such is still playing in the PL, which he probably wouldn't be if he'd joined us. He didn't go purely for money like NP did.

However as Ricardo says, it was the stringing us along bit, and the celebrations, that pissed us off with him.

Having said that, this team needs nothing more than a new 'favourite' player. I had hoped that Stewart coming back would inspire the fans to sing his name a bit and get excited about him more often (like we used to do with Campbell). It's turned out that Stewart, like everyone else in our team, hardly has his name sung at all. I'd love it if we did have a player who gets everyone excited like Campbell used to.

Crikey if this the response i've had over this part of what he told me then i certainly aint putting the 2nd bit of what he told me!! As I said earlier we will see by the end of Jan if he is telling the truth or not. I for one would welcome him back but suspect there is some who would not

The 2nd bit is Michael Turner coming with him......with James Harper going in the opposite direction :)

I dont think there is a cat in hells chance of Turner this Jan and I never want to see FC in a city shirt again OR any other player for that matter who messes the club about.

As for Michael Turner, I think that there will be a better chance in the summer of getting him back if Nick wants him back that is. Especially if City make the PL again. imo.

If City make the Premier League then I reckon there is every chance of going for Turner but until then - definitely not

I would have Fraizer Campbell up front, Jimmy Bullard in midfield, Nigel Pearson at the back and David Lloyd peeling the halftime oranges if it gets us promoted.

I can't find a more relevant place to post this so sorry for being a little off topic, however does anyone know if we are still in for Hammill? He started against Chelsea last weekend and I've heard he played really well and looked really dangerous. He's also been on Wolves bench for pretty much every game of the season (when he hasn't started) and come on in a lot of games. It just confuses me why Wolves would let him go out on loan.

I think it was always unlikely but we stand a chance depending on if they bring back Kightly as a replacement.

Are you ****ing mad????????????????

Have you seen the mess David Lloyd makes eating? I wouldn't let that twat near the half time oranges! Other than that I agree with you.

I thought the other winger coming in was a permanent transfer? In which case Wolves might be prepared to sell him and recall Kightly for their bench. (Strengthening us and weakening someone else in our division)
