If he's been hurt and his car damaged they should have been. The insurance company will want to know all the facts.
Yea you're probably right , going to ask him tomorrow. Off to bed now! Hope when I wake up the forum will look like its old beautiful self.
Don't think it'll have changed much. Have a good nights kip and you might feel better about it tomorrow.
He seems to be ok albeit sore from what he's said on Twitter, if anyone wants to pester him (make sure he's ok) on there - http://www.twitter.com/thomas91nufc. *edit* Just seen five goals post above! Whoops! Apparently the drunk driver was driving on the other/wrong side (Leazes' side) of the road when he went into him.
Hope Leazes is alright. I was a passenger in a car crash about 15 years ago. As we came over the crest of a hill, the car in front jammed on his brakes and we had little space to stop and eventually drove into the back of him at about 20 mph. Just after the crest of the hill was a jinction and a car pulled out causing 4 cars to ram into the back of each other. The car in front of us we rammed had a load of antique furniture in the back that had just been rendered into matchsticks and I couldn't stop giggling when I spotted the reaction of the driver who began shaking his hands over his head and shouting out 'This is all I ****ing need!' again and again. Total damage in the accident to 4 cars came to over £20,000 and the car that pulled out of the junction and caused it didn't have a scratch but there were no injuries so that was lucky.
I was in an accident in Sunderland just over the Wearmouth bridge near where the cinema is with my sister at the wheel - some bloke in a pickup was in the wrong lane and cut her up. She sat on the horn and he slammed the brakes on so we went into the back of him and took his roll bar clean off. He got out the car & started screaming at my sister & swearing profusely until me & my sister's fiance got out and then, without either of us saying a word, started begging us forgiveness and not to ring the police to report the accident. Proper surreal moment, I don't know if he was driving without insurance, high or drunk or what but I couldn't help but laugh either after the way he went on.
he told him to stop posting old stats from the 80's on the toon board and he wouldn't call the police
