Being from Ipswich I don't want him to go there as its bad enough having Bullard and Bowyer in the team, imagine Smith as well. Will need care workers rather than coaches. But he needs to leave Newcastle asap and free up some wages!

Not looked at anybody's comments, so might have been mentioned, but apparently we in for Tomkins from West Ham. Very good centre back and would fit into our policy of young, hungry players with resale value. No where near Colo's class and not quite as good as Taylor yet but has potential to be better than him. Definetly better than Willo

nobody on here seems to rate him. the potential signing of vertonghen has tempted them too much I fear.
He never puts a foot wrong tbf. Only 22 aswell - I personally know a lot more about him than the lad you mention. Thing would be an astute signing for the right price
I heard that, but then I heard when that Colo is on £50k and getting a wage rise if he signs his new contract. Not sure what to believe
55k? No wonder he is hesitant on signing it. Not a lot considering he is our club captain.
It doesn't sound like a lot because of what we have paid players in the past, but our wage cap is supposedly £50k so it's breaking that.
