Carroll is a donkey. You cannot make a Grand National thoroughbred out of a seaside donkey. It isn't going to happen. What I reckon will happen is, Carroll will be on and off the bench for you for a couple more seasons, in order to mask the utter humiliation your side will suffer when you finally sell him to Millwall for as much as you can get for him (which won't be much, at all).
