I agree, you are probably more likely to win a trophy before us at the moment, but that won't happen any time soon,for either of us. At least Liverpool fans are not deluded, and realise this.

What I reckon will happen is, Carroll will be on and off the bench for you for a couple more seasons, in order to mask the utter humiliation your side will suffer when you finally sell him to Millwall for as much as you can get for him (which won't be much, at all). I bet even the Toon Army don't want him back, not for half the price.

Wake up and face the facts, pal. You Messiah is a false prophet. Like I said earlier, you'll never finish any higher than 5th - at very best, because you're JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH (UNDERSTAND) to finish any higher. You're only hope is that The Septics are stupid enough to give Dalglish a shed load of money to spend in January, and that he somehow contrives to buy somebody who can actually play. I wouldn't hold my breath, though.
