If we are serious about trying to stay in the PL, then we need big upgrades across the pitch. As others have said, Joseph's playing time would be very limited in the PL. If he goes, he goes with our best wishes and thanks for the part he played this season.

If it happens it'll be slightly strange that Joseph's last action for us before leaving for Millwall was getting snapped by a Millwall defender and then roundly abused by the Millwall fans for having the audacity to be injured in front of them during what was a big game for them.

They used that signing (amortised over a long contract) to balance off Forest 'over paying' for Anderson - which accounted as pure profit to fiddle with PSR that summer, poor keeper was a pawn in a much bigger game
Joseph realises he won't play a lot. He will probably get a big contract as well. Fair play to him, loved him as a player this season, and he has loads of potential for improvement.
It is a shame for Pandur but in reality he won't want to be a number 2 all season. Thats what he will be, probably deserves a chance. Unless he learns to kick a ball under pressure (and I don't mean short passes) then he is no good to us unfortunately.

Then we should have had to comply by the end of January. Giving us a bonus month after the season when it won't impact our performance in said season is stupid as it has no impact on fair play.
We shouldn’t have been allowed to sign some players, it would have made more sense then, plus we might have got more money for some of the ones we want rid of, forced teams hands back then.
Imagine if boro had been 20m over the limit for the season, knowing they could sell Hackney in June to balance the books, and had beaten us in the final? It'd feel ridiculous.
Has there actually been any sign of Pandur going, other than one loose comment about West Ham keeping tabs on him?
