* Liverpool dont even want him, they are only signing him because they are scared of Newcastle building a string squad.

* The only reason he's chosen Liverpool is because they have a young ambitious Spanish manager <doh>
Yeah not like they’ve won 20 PL and 5 CL or owt.

Taking the red and white specs off and putting them on the table in the corner why would any serious player want to sign for them at the minute?

For a start, players are leaving - Gordon's gone, Trippier has gone. There's stories that Tonali, Hall, Wissa, Waltemade and Elanga want to leave. There was speculation that Howe may be sacked towards the end of last season and it hasn't really been rebuffed, just announced that he's here for next season. They were the team that lost the most points from winning positions last season which suggests there's something wrong somewhere. Players want to play in Europe and they're not there next season. They didn't show any real fight in the 2 derby games and their nearest rivals have now surpassed then after 8 years in lower leagues and are now in Europe themselves. The hierarchy are quibbling over money with perspective signings and those signings have gone into play for other teams. - Trafford to Man City, Ekitike to Liverpool and now Munoz to Liverpool - that hardly sounds like a club that are pushing the boat out to get a player there.

Now putting those red and white specs back on. I hope it continues for a long time!

It seems as if* they are trying to learn the lessons of overpaying a lot before. Only to find out players were going there because they were overpaying.
